Learner Forum
Giving Learners a voice...

If you have taken part in learning you will understand how it can change people’s lives. By joining the Learner’s Forum, you can give local people a real voice and influence what happens in your community.

< Home
Why?
  • This is your opportunity to influence how and what learning happens locally.
  • Help improve what’s available to meet people’s real needs.
  • Improve ‘work’ skills and improve employment prospects.
That is up to you! As a group you will be in control of the approach you wish to take. With our support, through providing a space for you to meet, training, advice on managing meetings and links with learning providers, you can shape the future of learning in Cam & Dursley.
How?
Your role?
  • Talk to members of your community.
  • Talk to friends/family.
  • Bring your ideas to the group.
  • Find out what YOUR neighbourhood wants/needs.
  • Take these ideas/concerns, with our support, to learning providers.

We have talked with learning providers, Learning Skills Council, College Principals, Government office and other key organisations all of whom are desperate to find out what real people want!

Now is your chance to have a voice. Join the Learner’s forum and make sure it’s heard! To sign up today contact Viv Jones on 01453 547329 (Weds/Thurs) or email viv@thelearningcommunity.org.uk
