Learn at your own pace, in your own time!

Whether you want to learn how to use your computer, use the Internet or Email, update your skills for work, build a web site, learn desktop publishing, computer art, word processing, spreadsheets or databases - we will have a course for you.

Most of our courses lead to a nationally recognised certificate and on completion of your course you may progress to other full or part-time courses. These courses are available all year round.

We cater from absolute beginners to experts.

You will learn at your own pace, in a friendly, relaxed environment, using good quality learning materials, at a time convenient to you.

Our opening times for the Dursley Flexible Centre are:

Monday: 9am - 1pm, 2pm - 5pm, 6pm - 8pm
Tuesday and Thursday: 9am - 1pm and 6pm-8pm
Friday: 9am - 1pm
Saturday: 10am - 12pm

You can book as many two hour slots during these times as you wish.

A fully qualified and experienced Trainer will be present throughout each session to provide help if needed and to ensure you make satisfactory progress. This approach encourages individual learning and allows you to master a unit thoroughly before you progress to the next one.

Why not try our 9 hour taster course in Digital Imaging?

  • Learn to pick out the best parts of a picture, improve the appearance, lighten or darken areas, improve colour tones, remove red eye and skin blemishes.
  • Learn to know how to add filters and special effects, such as borders and frames.
  • Learn to put your pictures into a slide show, produce contact sheets, and email pictures.
  • Learn in your own time, at your own pace with an expert Trainer to help you when you get stuck.

    You can do all this and more when you enrol for a course at Stroud College in Gloucestershire’s Flexible Learning Centre in Dursley or Stroud! You have 9 hours to complete this course and you can choose to do these hours at any time during our opening hours.
